How they came to be
Jamie has been a performing musician since the age of five.   John Lennon has always been a influence on him.  His father was a guitarist who appreciated Lennon, he even taking the kids out of school to mourn the day anniversary that he was shot. He went on the road at 15, and has toured in bands ever since,  he always wrote music-on the side (Project ‘It Hates Humans’) while earning acclaim as a drummer. He met Aimee Echo on the road when their bands toured together. They both had an idea of what music they wanted to play and shared similar likes and dis-like musically. In June they had some downtime from their bands and went into a studio to play together, along with Scott & Mike, and in 2 days wrote 3 songs they loved..
"'Hero' the name came to Echo while reading an essay on modern Myths and the quote ‘Hero’s being those who live authentic lives’... Jamie liked he name (John Lennon's-working class hero), and Mike agreed after noticing a donation jar at a convenience store that read ‘Be A Hero’...Signs were everywhere....So when they came off tour they formed Hero"

They are getting studio time this month, so they plan to record all the new songs, sound files/demos soon
